Progressive Partnering is an organization comprised of several one call centers who have come together with the common goal of sharing information and resources in order to provide the best protection and services to their members.
The organization began as a way for centers to assert control of their environment by creating software to manage data and transmissions but quickly evolved as a way for common goals to be realized by sharing ideas and solutions to achieve results which address the needs of the centers directly.
The initial group of centers included Arkansas One Call System , Tennessee One-Call System, Mississippi One-Call System and Texas Excavation Safety System (TESS). Oklahoma One-Call Systems (Call Okie) quickly joined the partnership followed over time by Alabama One-Call and Palmetto Utility Protection Service (PUPS).

GeoCall
The GeoCall software is one result of the partnership. GeoCall is software used to manage member information, incoming tickets, and transmitting tickets to members. The software was developed as a collaboration of the original centers and extended and expanded with additional features as new partners joined the group and infused it with new ideas. P2 does not use the standard vendor relationship model to manage the software - changes to the software are initiated and agreed upon by the partner centers. It features a flexible query interface and a tightly integrated GIS component.
Progressive Partnering has partnered with KorTerra the leader in real-time locate management. In cooperation with P2, KorTerra has developed a suite of online and remote applications to help excavators, locators and facility operators manage locates and databases and to design projects. They are also responsible for providing positive response services to P2 for use by our partners – all services and functions included as part of GeoCall licensing.
